“This year has not been easy,” Jackie noted. “But ready to go home after 10 months of recovery.

Jackie went on to talk about what happened the year before they were due to have their first child.

“A week before our first child was due, my husband, Austin, found me unconscious in our living room. My brain had experienced a ruptured aneurysm.”

However, Jackie informed her supporters that she is “more motivated than ever to continue working” despite the challenging circumstances she still faces. I am excited to talk more about my special journey in the hope that it will be helpful to other trauma survivors.”

Jackie Miller James, 35, experienced a ruptured brain aneurysm at home in June 2023 when she was 39 weeks pregnant, as Mamas Uncut previously revealed. Her husband noticed her unconscious on the floor. She was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors discovered significant brain damage and bleeding.

Upon arrival at the emergency room, doctors immediately sent her to the operating room for two simultaneous procedures: brain surgery to save the mother’s life and an emergency cesarean section to save the baby’s life. They both made it.

Jackie Miller James was not conscious when she first saw her baby, despite being shown in photographs holding the baby to her chest. However, the family is optimistic that the day will come soon.
