After a few nibbles and some water, they watch as Boksil crawls beneath the barrier. They can now get to her if she permits it. Boksil crosses the street and settles down, her thick fur tangled into a ball. It’s a truly heartbreaking sight. She watches every passing automobile in the hopes that one will stop and wait for her owner to arrive home.
When they realized that was not going to happen, the rescuers came up with a plan to save her the next day.
