In the 1970s, Bacon’s move from Philadelphia to New York marked the beginning of a challenging but ultimately rewarding journey. Living underground with other artists, actors, and musicians, he immersed himself in the city’s vibrant cultural scene, which served as both a harsh lesson in survival and a catalyst for personal growth. This period of his life was crucial in shaping his resilience and approach to his career. His big break would come later, but these early experiences in New York were foundational.

The actor is a star in the film industry and won a Golden Globe for the project he starred in at HBO. Before he started working on television, he had never seen any of his shows before.

In one of his interviews, he talked about thinking about working in television before appearing in one, “If my agent called me and said, ‘I think you should do a series! I would fire my agent. ..”

Thanks to his actress wife, he changed his mind.
He explained how he enjoyed spending time with his wife on the show they both starred in and attending awards nights together.

“You know, when I started seeing her film work, you know, she’s doing one role and then she’s doing another role and it’s like barely recognizable, and to me, that was what I always imagined being an actor. so we can put on these different hats and become different people.” He said of Meryl Streep and how she inspired her.

The actor we are talking about is the famous, handsome actor, 65-year-old Kevin Bacon. As he once fought his way through life, he now enjoys his time with his wife.

In a recent interview with Kelly Clarkson, Bacon talked about how he lived in the past. It was in 1976 that Bacon moved to New York from Philadelphia, where he grew up. He had visited New York in the past with his sister, he explained.

When Bacon moved to New York, he first stayed with his sister, and when he found a place, he only had $150 a month.
